Giving your kitchen a fresh and updated look may not be as difficult as you think. Remove the Cabinet Doors

Use a screwdriver to remove the doors and the hinges from the cabinets. Remove all items from within the cabinets to ensure that you are able to easily get to the backs of the cabinets to make the transformation a breeze.

Paint the Insides of the Cabinets

Use painter's tape to tape off the edges of the backs of the cabinets. You want to be sure that the paint has a crisp edge so that it has a professional look when you are done. Paint the wall inside of the cabinets a bright, bold color. Allow the paint to dry a few hours before placing anything back into the cabinets.

Paint the Cabinet Frames

Paint the cabinet frames a different color than the color that you painted the insides of the cabinets. Allow the paint to dry for two hours. You want to use a different color of paint so that the backs of the cabinets have a nautical look, when you open the doors to get something out of them. Most interior walls of the cabinets are plain and boring, but painting them makes the cabinets even more unique. 

Paint the Cabinet Doors

Unroll a roll of textured wallpaper and measure it with a measuring tape and make marks so you know where to cut to make it fit on the fronts of the cabinet doors perfectly. Cut the paper and spray the front of one of the doors with spray adhesive. Press the wallpaper against the door and smooth it out until there are no air bubbles. Repeat the process with the other doors. Let the adhesive dry for thirty minutes and then paint the doors and the wallpaper the same color that you painted the outsides of the cabinets. Let the paint dry two hours.

Place the cabinet doors back onto the cabinets with the screwdriver. This quick and easy process will make your cabinets great for years to come.
